Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop

On February 5, 2012, Pursuers in NYC participated in a Forum Theatre Workshop with Theatre of the Oppressed NYC, facilitated by Katy Rubin & Concrete Justice. Developed by Brazilian theatre practitioner Augusto Boal, the Theatre of the Oppressed is an interactive, physical and playful tool used to investigate situations in which we are denied our basic rights, personally and collectively. Walk the Walk with Pursue

Bushwick TourOn Sunday, November 13, 2011, Pursuers participated in one of three social justice walking tours through the neighborhoods of North Brooklyn: Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick. Afterwards, all the groups met up for drinks and discussion at Brooklyn Winery.
